Santina DiMatteo Smith
Program Co-ordinator

Santina is a qualified program co-ordinator with several years of experience in the field of social services. She completed her “Social Service Worker” diploma from Humber College in 1996, and has since worked as both a program instructor and program coordinator for adults with exceptionalities. Her duties include program planning and evaluation, community resource assessment and service delivery co-ordination. These roles have allowed her the opportunity to develop an awareness of some of the challenges in working in a diverse society and to serve them both personally and professionally.
Her unwavering love that fills her with joy and charisma, in conjunction with her tireless work ethic, makes her a powerful advocate to the team, and an ideal spokesperson on behalf of the Ministry. Santina continuously searches for resources, meets with service providers and tend to the patient’s care and client needs to improve their quality of life, oversees all areas of the programs and ensures that a safe and positive environment is made for all the participants. It goes without saying that Santina has earned a great deal of respect and recognition from her peers, staff, clients, and superiors, who find her as a great team player and an indispensable asset to the group.
Santina is best known for her generous and sensitive nature, which allows her to connect with the young and old. She possesses a joyful spirit that shines through her face and makes her an excellent role model to work with. Her most recent appointment as Executive Director on the board is a great asset to our charity and to the growth of our programs at Sara Elizabeth Centre
