An integrated retreat experience for all students

Blue Veil Charity runs programs out of our Sara Elizabeth Centre located in Vaughan.  Since 2010 we having been hosting retreats for the various school boards both in person and online.  Our Centre is located on a large park like setting and we can accomodate over 100 students.

We facilitate each retreat and provide guest artists and musicians to be a part of the day activities. We follow the ministry’s curriculum for each grade and host a variety of specific retreat topics  with an underlining theme but we can also personalize a retreat to support a specific topic or unit.

During our retreats, students share a full day of reflection and friendship.  At our retreats, student are given the opportunity to  open their hearts and minds to the experiences of others as they integrate with our special needs participants in a group setting.

Retreats available include:

  • Grade 2 Communion
  • Grade 7 Confirmation
  • High school  (Grade 9 to 12)
  • High school Community Service Retreats
  • Inclusive Retreats for Resource classes

Students will participate in a variety of activities during our retreats that include:

  • drum circle
  • music
  • team building
  • art activity
  • a teaching component
